We've compiled a gallery of some of the homes in the shire that are lit up in 2020 - it's a great flick through for those who haven't had the chance to go for a drive themselves or even those that did. You can never have too much Christmas in your life.
Some of the more popular areas for light looking in 2020 in Leeton shire included Bella Vista Drive, Currawang Avenue, Moreton Bay Drive, Karri Road, Golf Club Estate and many more.
Most homes should remain lit up over the coming days ahead of the new year, so there's still time to load up the car with the kids, family and friends and head out around town for a look.
According to the history books, Christmas lights were first introduced in 1882 by Edward Johnson, a friend and partner of light-bulb inventor Thomas Edison.
Since then the tradition of homes lighting up has only grown and exploded into a feast of creativity.
Nowadays there's also the cost-effective solar lights, making it cheaper for everyone to adorn their homes with some sort of festive lights.
