As we reach the middle of January, 2021 already, now is the perfect time to reflect back and take a quick glance at what was happening in Leeton shire back in 2013.
In this last look back at the month you'll as always find various sports - soccer, league tag, junior games and much more gracing the pages of The Irrigator.
A special cricket clinic went ahead, highlighted by the appearance of Australian Women's Cricket Team vice-captain at the time Alex Blackwell.
Bike Safety Week was promoted with some help of some Leeton shire riders, and the man the community came to know as "Big Dave" was promoting the opening of his new store at the Leeton Market Plaza - most of which knew it would be a supermarket.
Flash forward now and that space has been filled by ALDI for several years now.
Schools also marked NAIDOC Week before the school holiday break.
What else was happening at this time? Check out our gallery and find out for yourself.
Have a great weekend.
The Irrigator team.
