The popular Volkswagen Scramble will be held at the Leeton golf course on January 31 and a COVID plan will be place to ensure the safety of all participants.
This includes a player sign in register and social distancing.
Like most businesses in town, golf clubs across the region have been hit hard by the affects of COVID-19, so support of events such as the scramble are crucial.
This competition has seen Leeton competitors make it all the way to the national finals in the past.
In 2019, Tyler Boller, Chris Doolin, Matt Arnold and Jason Nardi took out the number one position at the Leeton Volkswagen Scramble.
Leeton pro Jason Mimmo accompanied the team to the NSW regional finals, which was held at Yowani Country Club in Canberra where the team placed first ahead of 24 others from across the region.
This secured them a place in the Volkswagen Scramble national finals in the Sunshine Coast.
After giving it their best shot they fell short of the win, but it proves Leeton and the wider MIA is made up of some serious contenders.
