The summer holidays have been no different with every day filled to the brim with fun activities, including water play with water balloons and slip and slides, visits to the Leeton library, Whitton pool, the Roxy Theatre and Griffith for 10-pin bowling.
"We are continuing to see our numbers rise and have noticed more parents and carers going back to work this week, which is great knowing we can continue to be a service to working families," Out of School Care co-ordinator Keira McCallum said.
"We are open January 25, closed the 26th, open the 27th and 28th and open the 29th for After School Care."
A favourite part for staff every school holidays is seeing the bonds and friendships formed among the children.
"That is why I love my job. To see the kids laugh and have fun with each other while learning and growing is rewarding," Miss McCallum said.
"All our amazing staff work hard to make sure the kids are having the best holidays while keeping them safe and nurturing them."
The centre is also continuing to evolve to meet new needs.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Recently it has introduced a new plan to make the transition for children who have not yet started school into vacation and after school care so it is easier for the children, staff and families.
"We have seen eight children who start kindergarten this year begin transition into vacation care and we have seen many positive results and reactions to this," Miss McCallum said.
Anyone who requires vacation or after school care in 2021 can contact the centre or drop by.
