Leeton Shire Council has planned a staged opening of the Leeton Regional Aquatic Centre, beginning from Monday, February 8.
The 50 metre pool will open for school swimming carnivals, but closed to the general public, and from Tuesday, morning lap and squad training sessions from 6am to 8am will return.
On Saturday, February 13, the 50 metre pool, the learn to swim pool and splash pool will be open to the public from 10am to 8am.
The pool will operate during the same hours on Sunday.

From next Monday, the pool will be open from 1.30pm to 8pm.
Leeton Shire Council is still working on the installation of a new water slide, and it means there is no public access to the barbecue areas on the eastern side of the pool.
Changerooms and toilets will be open for use but the showers are closed as part of the COVID-19 safety rules.
Residents will soon be able to enjoy a swim for the remainder of summer.

The centre's kiosk will be open for swimming carnivals only to begin with before opening to the public on February 13, with trading hours of 10am to 7pm on weekends, and 1.30pm to 7pm on week days.
The kiosk's hours are still subject to change.
Leeton Shire Council extended its thanks to all residents for their patience as the upgrades to the pool were completed.
Council's open space and recreation manager Josh Clyne said the re-opening of the pool was an exciting moment for staff.
"The redevelopment has taken us a bit longer than we'd anticipated but I believe pool users will be very happy with the revamped facilities," Mr Clyne said.
"While the main barbecue area will have to remain closed until after the new water slide is installed, the good thing is residents will soon be able to enjoy a swim for the remainder of summer," he said.
