Barnes skipped his side of Anthony Gatt, Greg O'Callaghan and Bran Ward to the club fours championship on the weekend.
The side was barely troubled with a resounding win over Keith Ryall's team in the semi-final and a 20-17 win over the Rohan Dunham side in the final.
That score line flattered Dunham's team as the result was never in doubt and only four shots on the last end gave any respectability to the score.

It was the first time that O'Callaghan and Ward have won a club championship and both were chuffed to have their name added to the club's honour board.
The affable O'Callaghan has been in a real purple patch recently, winning the pennant player of the year for the No 7 grade in December, he was part of the inaugural President's Cup winning side and now taking out the club fours.
Barnes was quick to praise the efforts of his team mates adding "they played good consistent bowls and deserved the win".
