While it was certainly cold out, the weather didn't stop residents from their usual pursuits and activities.
Most notable throughout the month was the celebration of NAIDOC Week which saw residents of all ages gather to mark the special occasion.
The Leeton Salvation Army was moving into its new building from Brobenah Road to Maple Street, which is where it currently remains today.
A group of Petersham Road residents were also expressing their concerns about a phone tower being erected in their neighbourhood, while winter sport was of course the talking point on and off the field with differing results for the shire's clubs.
Storytime continued to be a big hit with the youngsters at the Leeton shire library and work was continuing on the town's heritage pathway at Mountford Park.
