Four teams from the L&D competed in the district fours championships.
Joan Lloyd, Marika Pete, Janet Bell and Jan Walker were put out of the competition in the first round last Tuesday by club mates Elaine Sullivan, Hilary Chambers, Judy Heness and Dot Semmler.
Unfortunately Sullivan was defeated by Wagga RSL in the second round.
After drawing a bye in the first round, Denise Naylor, Jan Fitzpatrick, Lorraine Messner and Joan Bourke had a comfortable win over Junee to earn a spot in the semi-finals.
IN OTHER NEWS:
After travelling back to Wagga on Thursday they lost in a tight game against Wagga Rules Club, who went on to win the Championship.
Twenty-one players enjoyed a game of social bowls.
The three triple winners were Patti Wakeman, Hilary Chambers and Marika Pete. Joan Lloyd, Mary Payten and Laurel Cox, and Elaine Sullivan, Faye Harris and Jan Munro, who also were the drawn winners on the day.
Dot Semmler and Gill Beer also had a win in a game of pairs.
Judy Heness won the tournament raffle and Jan Carroll won the lucky door.
