Rural Aid, an organisation which provides support to communities across the country, is rolling out the digital red carpet for a series of webinars which will showcase eight towns from across the country.
Leeton has been one of the towns selected after gaining attention for building up its art deco heritage and giving the town a new feel through recognising this part of its history.
Leeton Shire Council's general manager Jackie Kruger will speak to how town's can make the most of the assets they already have to hand - in this case art deco buildings, stories and heritage.
Leeton will be used an example of a successful architecture-tourism project to attract tourists to town.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mrs Kruger is expected to give an insight into how Leeton has been able to capitalise on its art deco buildings and institutions and turn them into a major tourist attraction in their own right.
Other towns to be showcases during the series are from places throughout NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia, with Leeton in good company.
The opportunity to spread the word about the shire and its art deco plans for the future will be of value as planning continues for the second Australian Art Deco Festival Leeton.
Leeton's webinar will be held on April 1. Residents can register to watch each of the presentations from the eight included towns should they choose to.
Registering once ensures you will be notified ahead of each webinar.
