The Central Riverina District Women's Triples Championships will commence on Tuesday at the L&D.
Fifteen teams from across the district, such as Wagga,The Rock, and Junee, will be competing, including three teams from L&D women's club.
The drawn winner's last Thursday, were Lorraine Mullins, Hilary Chambers and Joan Bourke (playing a double lead) defeating Janet Bell, Marika Pete and Joan Bourke.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Bell was in front until the ninth end when Mullins drew even and only gave away four points in the following nine ends, winning 19-12.
In another game of triples Judy Heness, Denise Naylor and Gill Beer proved to be too strong for Patti Wakeman, Lorraine Messner and Jan Carroll, winning 18-7.
In a much closer game of triples Elaine Sullivan, Mary Payten and Dian Colyer defeated Dot Semmler, Jan Walker and Jan Fitzpatrick.
The score was even on the seventh end, but Sullivan only allowed Semmler to win two of the next seven ends, winning the match 11-7.
