A massive clean-up and structural stabilisation job was necessary to allow it to reopen on March 1.
As a result, we missed our auxiliary lunch meeting last month, but we've been informed the club our next lunch meeting can go ahead this Friday at 1pm.
All are welcome to gather with us for lunch, if only to sit for a cuppa or even just a chat.
The Leeton RSL Sub-branch annual general meeting, also postponed last month, will be held this Wednesday at 5pm at the Leeton Soldiers Club.
Following on after the meeting we will all gather for dinner, for those who are able to stay. All welcome.
Leeton Sub-branch members are reminded the RSL fees are due by March 30.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The Leeton Soldiers Club staff continue to assist our Sub-branch by collecting these fees on our behalf.
We thank them for all their wonderful ongoing support.
Our next Sub-branch coffee morning for all veterans and supporters, held on the third Saturday of the month, will be at The Fabric Farm (formally Two Friends) on March 20 at 10am.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join us.
With Anzac Day fast approaching, the Sub-branch is still planning on having an Anzac Day service in some form, but it will take on a different, simplified version to comply with government health regulations.
More organising is still to be done to comply with all the regulations, however all details will be made available once we have confirmation.
We are still encouraging everyone to come together and light up their driveway at dawn.
