An "informal chat" to discuss the development of Mona Magazine was held at the Leeton Art Gallery and Museum following a very successful event held in Griffith a few weeks before.
This is the brainchild of three passionate women who identified there were few options for a diverse range of women to have a voice.
The concept is built on the firm belief that every woman has a valuable story to tell that will strengthen, empower and connect the diverse expanse of women in remote and regional areas.
This opportunity will see women come together to engage in writing workshops that will build confidence in writing their story, raise awareness, promote ideas and discuss opportunities to "be the change they want to see in the world".
IN OTHER NEWS:
Mona Magazine encourages writers, artists, businesses; women from all backgrounds and experiences are welcome to contribute and be involved in this bold venture that gives rise to voices that will be heard.
It is a vision that builds a safe and nurturing space to tell stories and develop skills in writing and producing connection.
The women who attended in Leeton proved to be engaging and brilliantly diverse in their life experiences.
Their shared desire is to have a positive impact on the generations to come, as well as tenderly share the stories and experiences of those who have gone before us.
Embrace this opportunity by setting aside your fear and low confidence and have your voice heard; enable our community to learn and grow by contributing your say to Mona Magazine.
