JACK McDonell returned to Leeton in the new year and quickly jumped into dad's Odd Squad team as they always need a little bit of extra help.
Jack provided in bundles returning a brilliant nett 29 to be the player of the week and the only player to break 30 nett and the only player in his team to actually play.
He'll lose four strokes off his cap for next week. There were 227 starters for the round.

3. SAM RYAN 36.00
4. SIMON WATSON 36.16
5. GRAEME DALE 36.26
There's no opportunity to play twilight golf for four consecutive days over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will be the Pro-Am, while Monday and Tuesday the course will be closed for green renovations.
Other great performances last week came from Shane Dryburgh, Dom Mercuri, Glenn Saddler, Jen Pirrottina, Josh Helson, Ryan Mahalm, John Martin, Laney Lashbrook-Gough, James Hopper, Renee Sharman, Kyle Pete, John Gavel and Rob Fairweather.
The ball comp rounded out at 34 and below.

LAST Saturday was opening day for lady golfers with the March monthly medal.
Penny Hudson was our first medal winner with 71 on a countback to Helen Webb, congratulations ladies. Pins 4th and 15th Julie Fitzsimon, 13th Jenny Day.
Ball comp went to 76 nett. Men had a field of 71 players for their March monthly medal. Grant Fitzsimon blitzed the field with 65 nett and being one under the card taking out the medal.
Barry Lang had a great day also taking out the medal of medalists with 70 nett. Results for A grade Grant Fitzsimon 65, runner up Col Tuckett 70 on a countback.
B grade Alex Podres 70 nett, runner up R. Ryan 71. C grade John Hill 72 nett, runner up S Ryan 75 on a countback.
Pins: 4th Rod Tait, 6th Daryl Odewhan, 13th Grant Fitzsimon, 15th Damian Lang. Drive and chip: A grade Ben Elwin, B grade C Maher, C grade J Pattinson. Ball comp went to 75 on a countback.
