A VACANT building in Wattle Hill has been targeted during a vandalism attack sometime between 10am on March 5 and 5am on March 6.
Police said the building belonged to a business, but has been vacant and boarded up for some months.
Officers have been told an inspection at the location took place around 10am on March 5 where everything was fine.
However, the following morning at 5am a tradesman alerted police to the vandalism attack.
Holes had been smashed in nearly every internal wall, with each also graffitied with black spray paint.
A board was removed from a kitchen window and a further window in this room was also smashed.
The building was due to be renovated, but police said the damage bill would increase the cost significantly.
