I WAS fascinated, inspired and compelled to write about my brief experience within the production of Henry V in Leeton.

To witness the professional development in the cast engendered by Jake Speer is indeed masterful and worthy of applause.
To consider undertaking a part in this production is no small feat.
It is a total immersion in studying the author, the time, the culture and the reason behind writing such a play.
Actors are encouraged to step into the shoes of their character.
To see what they see, to feel what they feel and portray attitudes and responses reflecting the time in which they live.
It is a true exercise in understanding people, character and what propels a person to wage war, to follow a leader, to betray and beguile and to find love.
IN OTHER NEWS:
To seek out the motivation of each character brings to life a place in time that we may consider a vast difference to our modern times yet, reaching into the heart and soul of another person, we recognise the time and place may be different, but our human essence remains the same.
We are all moved by injustice, wounded by betrayal, react when our pride is threatened and softened in our hearts when we are filled with love.
It is indeed a privilege that we have access in our small country town, to this incredible production.
I encourage you, one and all to support this and enjoy the artistry that our community has on offer.
The stage, the sets, the costumes and all the hard work in the complex facets of this project is to be applauded.
Let's celebrate this through our full attendance that will herald the way for future events.
