A DISAGREEMENT between family members turned violent on the weekend when a young man brandished a knife at relatives.

Police were called to a home in Muntenpen Street around 10.30pm on Friday, April 23 following a disagreement between a mother and her 23-year-old son.
Officers said the pair had disagreed on a visitor of the son's being at the home and who had been asked to leave.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The 23-year-old allegedly refused family members' requests for the visitor to leave and armed himself with a knife which he used to allegedly damage an outdoor seating bench, as well as the side of the house while also allegedly threatening those present.
Police were called to the property and the man was arrested and taken to Leeton police station where he was charged with intimidation and malicious damage.
He will appear in court at a later date.
