The Crows were on the back foot early as the Lions raced out to an eight-goal lead by halftime and continued to race away with the game after the break.
A nine-goal to two second half saw the Lions come away with a 17.23 (125) to 4.2 (26) victory.
Josh Lanham kicked two goals for the Crows while coach Sam Darley and Tyron Rainbird finished with one each.
Darley felt that the Lions were one of the best sides that his side has come up against so far this season.
"They were outstanding in terms of the way they set up behind the footy and probably physically targeted me as a whole team," he said.
"It was probably the most well-drilled side, and their ability to stick to task is the best that I have seen from my short time here."
The Crows coach felt his side were a bit too predictable during the opening stages of the game, and from that point, it was difficult to come back from.

"Our inability to try and move the footy or shift their defence was disappointing," he said.
"They set up really well behind the ball, and Ganmain is a big side, and we probably played boring footy early and kicked it down the line and played into their hands a bit.
"To be fair to us in the second half, we did take the game on a little bit more and looked dangerous at times but waiting until half time to do that is way too long."
There was also another area that was pointed out by his support staff on the bench, which could have been improved with Darley being tightly marked.
"I was heavily being tagged, and I get that every week anyway, but their whole team was really diligent at hitting me with every chance that they got and going out of their way to make it a hard day," he said.
"I guess we just didn't have any of our boys stand up or go out of their way to make it a hard day for the guy tagging.
"The other thing is we are a young side, and a lot of them probably don't understand. They are worried about getting a kick or trying to find their feet at senior level."
