The Leeton Greenies took home the victory in the Group 20 match against the West Wyalong, taking an early lead and not letting up.

Shannon Bradbrook brought home an early try for Leeton, and the team held onto their lead strongly. Luke Chandler-Van Vliet took a try for Wyalong in the first quarter but the team struggled to keep up for the rest of the game.
Hayden Philp made a sprint down the field to bring home a stunning try, deftly avoiding Wyalong and bringing the score to 36-6. A last minute try from Jordan Demarzo brought the final tally to 42-6 for Leeton.
Coach Hayden Philp said "I was really happy with the win. Obviously we made a couple errors that we'll work on, but it was good to get the win and we're heading into a bye so we've got the next week off."
The next game for Leeton is against the Waratah Tigers on the May 29 at the Exies Sports Oval. Wyalong will go up against the Tigers next week on the 23rd at Ron Crowe Oval.
