The Hawks will host the Blueheelers in a Saturday afternoon fixture at Yanco Sportsground and both teams know how critical a win will be.
Yanco-Wamoon are coming off a loss to West Wyalong in round six followed by the long weekend bye, so will no doubt be eager to get a solid match in and the points at the final siren.
It's been a mixed start to the Group 20 season for the Hawks, but a win this weekend could give them the momentum they will need going into their round eight blockbuster with traditional rivals Leeton on June 26.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Yanco-Wamoon are currently sixth on the first grade table, while the Yenda Blueheelers are nipping at their heels in seventh.
The Hawks will have the home ground advantage in their favour and will be wanting to make sure there's no sluggish play among the side following the recent break.
Consistency will be the key, as will be maintaining possession and completing sets.
Co-coaches Kane Hammond and Troy Preston will be expecting a full team effort from their players on Saturday afternoon.
The match is set to kick off at 3pm.
