The group has received a cheque worth $5000 from the Leeton Pieces and Patches organisation who recently held a highly-successful exhibition in town.
Held earlier this month, the quilt exhibition attracted many residents and visitors alike, helping to raise the money for the Leeton VRA.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Pieces and Patches and the VRA have a long-running association with each other, with the money raised over the years being put to good use to assist the volunteers in saving countless lives and helping people in tough situations.
