IN OTHER NEWS:
Although disappointed in the eventual outcome, the boys can be proud of their achievements as never before has Leeton had two undefeated teams go into a division one finals series.
The under 12s girls came up short in their semi-final, going down to Bathurst 53-24.
The Leeton Basketball Association said it was proud of how far the team has come in 2021. With plenty of hard work, determination and a passionate coach, they progressed all season to finish in third in division one.
The association has also congratulated Leeton's Madeline Irvin and Abbey Horton, who joined the under 18s Griffith Demons after not being able to field a Leeton team. Their side finished runners-up in division one.
