Alampi said at the end of the day it wasn't his decision, but said he could see benefits in playing on, as well as calling an end to the 2021 year.
"At the end of the day I want to do what is best for our players and the health of our community," Alampi said.
"What that involves at this stage we just don't know."
Football Wagga has again called on clubs, including Leeton United, to put forward their ideas on how the 2021 could go on.
However, all of this will depend when the lockdown in regional NSW ends.
At this stage, that lockdown is due to end at midnight on September 10, but there is every possibility it could be extended.
With some clubs already indicating it is time to call an end to the 2021 season, Football Wagga will have to work out which way it goes if and when lockdown comes to an end.

Alampi said it was a hard situation to be in because no one had any clear answers.
"I know our club has put together some options on what could happen and where we go," he said.
"All we can do at the moment is wait and see what happens with lockdown.
"It's different to the situation we were in last year.
"This year we've started and then we've stopped.
I'll back whatever the club wants to do and whatever the boys want to do.

"I'm either way at this stage. I'd like it to be wrapped up and played, but if they don't do it, I understand why as well.
"I'd love the chance for us to be able to go back-to-back, but we need to make sure we're doing the right thing for everyone that is involved and making sure we are keeping our community healthy and safe as well."
Alampi said he had been keeping in touch with players through the group's Facebook messenger chat, saying they appeared to be keeping in good spirits during lockdown.
He said should matches resume and possibly go straight into finals, this could present some concerns.
"There's not a lot of time to be training properly if we did happen to come out of lockdown and that's the way we move forward with the competition," Alampi said.
"At the end of the day, it isn't my decision.
"I'll back whatever the club wants to do and whatever the boys want to do.
"If we play, I'll certainly be doing everything I can as a coach to make sure we are ready to go."
Already, it has been decided regardless of what home and away rounds are played between now and finals, if they should occur, each respective ladder will stand.
