Born and bred in Leeton, Councillor Nardi says she understands the value of hard work and kindness, which she attributed to her parents and her experience working on family farms from a young age.
A small business owner herself, Cr Nardi said she wanted to support local business as much as possible.
"I like to support business as much as possible, supporting local is hugely important to me, especially as we continue to recover from the pandemic," Cr Nardi said.
Looking to the future is also on Cr Nardis mind as she campaigns for a second term.
"I would love to see education within our community grow," Cr Nardi said.
"Things feed off each other, education feeds off housing feeds of families which feeds business and boosts the local economy."
"More job opportunities means more people move and settle here and the town can be sustainable well into the future."
According to Cr Nardi, Leeton needed to grow from a 'meandering town'.
"Everyone has the right to move forward and if you don't move forward you get stuck," Cr Nardi said.
"Things need to grow for the younger generation to keep them here, we need to create robust opportunities for our youth."

When speaking with The Irrigator, Cr Nardi also noted she was supportive of improving mental health and health services in general available at Leeton District Hospital.
"The health system is broken in all rural areas," Cr Nardi said.
Previously, Cr Nardi has also served on a number of committees including the Roxy Advisory and Redevelopment, Leeton youth, Yanco Town Improvement and community hall and has been involved in a number of charitable initiatives in town.
"I really enjoy organising and participating in charitable events, I like to give back where I can," Cr Nardi said.
"I am just a passionate person who really loves her community. "
Lastly, Cr Nardi said it was 'hugely important' to have women represented in local government.
"Having an equal mix of men and women is good for diversity in not only beliefs but discussion," Cr Nardi said.
