The day, which marks a crucial fundraising effort for the MIA MS group, brought together businesses and individuals to play a round of golf at Leeton Golf Club. It raises a huge amount of money for the support group, which will help fund equipment purchases and programs for the next year.
This year also celebrated the 25 year anniversary of the golf day, which has continually grown and expanded under the tutelage of Joan Dartnell, the President of the MIA Branch of MS.
Ms Dartnell said that she wanted to thank all the supporters who turned out to help run the day. The Leeton Whitton Football Club turned out to provide and run a barbecue, the fifteenth year that they've done so - she added that The Rotary Club of Leeton Central were key to the success.
"25 years is a long time to run the MS Charity Golf Day but very rewarding when the money raised will be kept in our district for persons with M.S. Those with MS in the MIA area are beautiful people just trying to get on with life," she said.
