Excitement is building around the prestigious MIA Breeders Plate, which returns to its traditional timeslot of Boxing Day night.
Club president and secretary Joanne Punch said there was plenty of racing action to look forward to at Lin Gordon Paceway in December and January.
"Our Christmas carnival is on again ... on December 14 we will have the heats of the Breeders Plate," Punch said.
"The final will then run again on Boxing Day night.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Also on that night we will have the heats of the Golden Apple and Milbrae Quarries races, with their finals on January 1, which will also be our Yenda Producers Leeton Pacers Cup night.
"It all sort of overlaps and runs into each other, which is good."
The invitational ladies race will also be held on January 1 and three-year-old CopRice race too.
With the MIA Breeders Plate now back to its traditional roots, Punch was hopeful big crowds would turn out for the racing action on the night.
There will be plenty of room for spectators to sit and enjoy what's happening on track, musical entertainment will be happening, as well as activities for children.
"There's some big prizemoney on offer again for the MIA Breeders Plate," Punch said.
"We're hoping to see good crowds turn out for both Boxing Day Night and the evening of January 1."
The club will be abiding by whatever COVID rules are in place at the time.
