A group of the young athletes recently competed at the regional carnival in Wollongong with some top results.
Fifteen medals were won by the athletes and several have now been selected to take part in the state carnival in Sydney at the end of the month.
Starring for Leeton at the regional event was Josh Baulch who broke not one, but two records and brought home two gold medals in the 17s 400 metres and 800 metres category.
Leeton Little Athletics Club’s Jodie Ryan was impressed to see the young guns performing so well.

“The kids did really well … there were good results in both the track and the field.
