The Leeton Motor Sports Club is preparing to host the inaugural “Easter Burnouts at Brobenah” on Saturday and all of the community is invited to attend.
The event has stemmed from years of dreams of creating a burnout pad for professional competition, as well as use by other community members in a controlled environment where possible.
The pad was originally going to be built near the club, but the idea didn’t get the green light.
Enter the motor sports club and now the project has come full circle and it’s the community who is set to benefit with another event being added to the Leeton SunRice Festival calendar on Easter Saturday.
Why a burnout pad?
Organisers of Brobenah Burnouts have said they are excited to launch the new pad.
It is one of the largest in Australia and now forms part of the Leeton Motor Sports Club on Brobenah Hall Road.
All involved are dedicate to running clean, fun and, most importantly, safe-controlled events.
To ensure this, organisers adhere to all rules and regulations as set down by Speedway Australia.
Burnouts and entertainment
This event isn’s just for “revheads”. It’s for everyone.
The inaugural burnout meet will be staged at the speedway from 4.30pm on Easter Saturday with competition to be held under lights.
Using the recently-laid concrete pad, the competition will attract cars from across NSW and Victoria, including those from the professional circuit.
A loud, but hugely fun night is guaranteed.
