The “local derby” is always a tight tussle between the senior men’s side, with the women’s competition also known to provide plenty of entertainment.
Last weekend the Dianas took on the CSU Reddies, but were unable to come away with the victory, going down 26-12.
The Reddies are proving to be one of the top sides in the women’s competition this year, so the Dianas, while disappointed with the loss, showed fight and spirit against their opponents.
This weekend they take on the Blacks, who are third on the ladder.
The Dianas youth should hold them in good stead in the match up as they look for their second win of the season.

For the first grade side, the Phantoms will go in as the favourites, having not lost a game in 20 matches.
However, as they know, anything can happen in a derby match up, with the Blacks always a formidable opponent.
Dianas kick off the day at 1.20pm.
