The Leeton Public School stage three dance group recently took part in the 2018 Riverina Dance Festival in Albury with their well-rehearsed piece Heroes We Could Be.
Telling a story through movement is as much part of the entertainment for the audience as it is for the performers.
The idea behind their performance this year was to explore what a hero is and how everyday people can all be placed in this category.
“We (asked) the question about us,” relieving principal Rachel Thomason said.
“Can we too be heroes by the choices we make in our everyday lives?
“Anybody’s got the power, we can do anything, we could (all) be heroes.”
