St Peter’s Anglican Church will hold its annual fete, as well as geranium and rose show on October 20 and the good news is, it’s open to one and all.
Every year St Peter’s holds the fete as its biggest fundraiser, with all funds going back into the church.
Father Robert Murphy said if it was a fun day out residents were after, there was no better place to be.

“There will be something for everyone,” he said.
“We’ve got entertainment, great food, things to buy, things to see and much more.”
Included in this year’s program is a kids corner, jumping castle, face painting, live entertainment and items such as jams, pickles, craft, cakes, produce and plants up for sale.
In terms of delicious eats there will be breakfast, morning tea and lunch available, as well as hot doughnuts, popcorn and more.
The geranium and rose show take pride of place within the St Peter’s hall, with entries being taken on October 19 from 4pm to 7pm.
“This is our 105th fete,” Fr Robert said.
“It’s got a long and great tradition in our town.
“We would love to see as many people there as possible. It’s open to all members of the community.”
The event will be held on the St Peter’s church grounds on October 20 from 9am to 1pm.
