Unidentified offenders have stolen scrap copper wire from a property in that area, with police saying it was worth around $1000.
It is believed the wire was stolen sometime between 7pm on December 14 and 6am the following day.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information that could help officers should contact the Leeton station.
License immediately suspended
A YOUNG Leeton p-plate driver will be unable to get behind the wheel for some time after being detected speeding by police.
The 18-year-old male driver was detected driving more than 30kmh over the speed limit while in a 60kmh zone in Brady Way.

Police pulled the man, who was driving a blue Holden Commodore, over at 10.40pm on December 14 and his licence was suspended on the spot.
Police have reminded residents to be cautious behind the wheel during the festive season.
Double demerits are now being enforced for driving offences, including speeding, and they will remain in place until January 2.
