Leeton shire residents will be given the chance to do just that when the Australian Red Cross Mobile Blood van rolls into town this month.
The Australian Red Cross Blood Service needs to collect over 25,000 blood donations every week.
Leeton shire residents can help support this life-saving service by pulling up their sleeve and donating on either January 22 or January 23.

The van will be set up in Jarrah Street near Mountford Park on both of those days from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
Appointments can be made by calling 13 14 95.
There are about five litres of blood in the human body and it's made up of several useful components.
A community member may be able to donate whole blood, plasma or platelets.
Each type of blood donation is used for different medical treatments, and your blood type determines the best donation for you to make.
A donation can help save up to three lives.
In order to donate blood, a resident needs to be aged 18 to 70 years-old, weigh 50 kilograms or more and be fit and healthy.
