The Ferrets need to secure a victory in order to start getting more points on the board for the overall ladder, which will soon come into play when the two-day competition gets underway.
In their way will be the in-form Yanco Cricket Club in what will be Twenty20 match up at Mark Taylor Oval.
Ferrets captain Ben Elwin was hopeful his side would find some consistency.
“I think where we have been struggling is just getting that consistent bowling attack right … our line and length,” he said.
“We’ve got a fair few young guys in the side, so it’s just looking for that consistent play from everyone.

“I’m confident if we can do that, we will give Yanco a run for their money.”
While the L&D CC can’t make the Twenty20 final, Elwin said it was important the Ferrets started to get more points on the board.
“We really do need to get a win,” he said.
“We’ve been pretty good in the Twenty20s this season, but we just haven’t been finishing everything off properly.”
In terms of the introduction of the Twenty20 competition this season, Elwin said his side had been enjoying the format and it was one he would like to see continue in the years ahead.
The other A grade match this weekend will be between Narrandera and the LSC Colts at Narrandera Park. B grade also returns with their Twenty20 matches scheduled to be played before the A grade games get underway.
