Mrs Vos is right in the middle of planning the three-day event with the help of several volunteers who are all throwing everything they have into making the festival a success.
The event was first held several years ago, but went into recess.
It has now been revived with the idea of building it up to make it the country’s premier art deco event.
Mrs Vos is Leeton Shire Council’s marketing and cultural services co-ordinator and said there had already been interest from far and wide for the July event.
“It’s so exciting, I’ve had people tell me they have friends, family and people they know coming from places like Shoalhaven, the Gold Coast, Canberra, the Sunshine Coast and more,” she said.
“Along with our volunteers in Leeton we have a man from Brisbane who is also helping out in this capacity, he phones in to all of our meetings.”
The website for the festival is now up and running and stallholders wanting to take part can register their interest.

Council is waiting to hear back whether or not it has been successful in receiving funding for the event from Destination NSW.
However, even if the funding doesn’t come through this time around, the festival will still be going ahead with several events planned throughout the three days.
They were include a street festival, vintage displays, a Gatsby gala, long lunches, art exhibitions, films and much more all happening with an art deco theme.
Residents can head to the website to view a draft program and subscribe to get all of the latest news.
Several residents have been providing valuable help in their areas of expertise, including Charmain Lee as the program and performance co-ordinator, Maryann Iannelli in sponsorship and marketing and Nella Amato is taking care of costumes.
Old family photos from the art deco era in Leeton are being sought to be used during the event and can be either dropped into council or emailed to suesannv@leeton.nsw.gov.au.
