The Leeton Netball Association recently participated in the Junior State Titles in Sydney where three sides took part.
The under 12s had a great weekend, coming away as the runners-up in division four in what was their first outing at the three-day competition.
Leeton Netball Association's Nat Meline said the team played hard throughout the event.
"This was their first year," she said.
"Next year they will go up to division three, which will be harder again for them.
"They had two losses. On points they were equal first, so on for and against percentage they were runners-up.
"It's so great for them. There were 20 teams in their division, so it was fantastic for them.
"They've had a good run this year through their representative carnivals in the lead-up to the State Titles as well."
The under 13s were 15th out of 20 after dropping from division three to division four.
"I think they were pretty happy with that as well ... it's a good experience for them," Meline said.
The goal for the under 14s was to finish in the top five in their division, which they achieved at the end of the three days of competition.
"They just lost a few easy games on the first couple of games ... unfortunately there is no grand final, but they won every game they played on the last day.

"There were 18 teams in their division and we ended up fourth on position, but fifth on for and against percentage."
In the lead up to the competition the teams are chosen months before and then they train and play in several weekend carnivals across the wider region to test their skills.
Meline was happy with the sportsmanship shown by the Leeton's sides.
"They are playing a lot of netball over the weekend ... it's a real credit to them," she said.
"We didn't have any injuries as far as I know, so that's good as well."
The association will hold their annual presentation evening on August 10.
