Leeton were able to defeat the Griffith Black and Whites 20-10 in West Wyalong, setting up a grand final clash with the Yanco-Wamoon Hawks.
The traditional rivals will go head-to-head in what will be a huge match for the whole shire as everyone picks which side they are on.
Leeton coach Paul McGregor was thrilled to get the preliminary final win.
"It was a really big effort ... we were down 10-4, but they never panicked, they stuck to their guns," he said.

"Black and Whites came at them pretty hard. We spoke about it at half-time, talked about no tries, shutting them down. I thought they did that well from the time they (the Panthers) scored their last try.
"I thought our defence was really on song. We had worked a lot of our defence.
"There was issues there at the start, but I don't think there's any issues now."
The Greens have had to work hard to make the grand final in 2019, but are better for the run.
They've been playing consistent football and will look to take that form into this weekend's decider against their old arch rivals.
McGregor thought the turning point on Sunday for the Greens was their try after the break.
"We spoke about it at half-time, what we should do to get on the front foot," he said.
"Our completions were really good after that."
McGregor said the team would spend the week preparing, but they won't be letting the occasion get to them.
"Who would have thought it would be Leeton and Yanco in the grand final," he said.
"It will be pretty special. We'll just have to try and control the girls and not get overawed with the occasion."
