Last weekend Leeton Shire Council held a Bike Week event, which had 70 people attending throughout the morning.
The event included a workshop with Cycling Australia, which was attended by 40 people, and was aimed at those aged five to 14.
The day also utilising the town's shared pathways for bike rides, as well as other activities for youngsters to enjoy, including face painting.
These routes as part of the bike rides differed in lengths to suit all of the participants and their abilities.
Leeton Shire Council road safety and traffic officer Stephanie Puntoriero said she was pleased with the turnout and encouraged residents to continue getting on their bike and exploring the many cycling networks around town.

Held every year and based on the town's network of bike tracks, the event once again produced family friendly activities, with the underlying message of bike safety.
Bike Week promotes cycling in general, as well as its many advantages whether that is exercise, transport of pleasure. Residents on their bikes should also keep an eye out for swooping magpies.
Magpie "hot spots" can be reported to council.
