After winning the toss and electing to bat the youngsters at the top of the order led the way for the Ferrets with Mathew Axtill and Harrison Steele getting their side past the 50-mark in the ninth over.
The pair put on 58 for the first wicket before Tye Clancy (1/22) made the breakthrough his side needed with the wicket of Steele (26) while Andrew Kouzan (2/13) picked up the wickets of Axtill (25) and Caleb Watson (2) soon after.
Despite losing 3/2, Bryce Rogers and Tyler O'Connell got their side back on track as they push their side past the 100-mark with three overs remaining in their innings.
Rogers (20) fell to the bowling of Callum Dunn (1/20) with the score on 108 but some late hitting from O'Connell (32*) and Blake McDonald (9) saw the Ferrets finish on 5/132 after their 20 overs.
The Stags made a strong start to their innings with Clancy and Brad Evans at the top of the order putting on 29 for the first wicket before Bryce Collins (1/13) was able to find his way through the defences of Evans (15).

Clancy and Kouzan looked to keep their side moving in the right direction before Kouzan (8) was the next to fall when he was caught by Axtill of the bowling of Watson (1/28) and after adding some quick runs Anthony Mandaglio (14) followed two overs later when he was trapped in front by Steele (1/14).
With the Stags needing 63 runs off the remaining 6.2 overs, it was crucial the scoreboard kept ticking over, and while Clancy was able to find runs, his partners weren't having the same amount of luck.
Charlie Lamont (4) departed after she was caught off the bowling of Mohammad Ahmed (1/8) to see the Yanco side needing to hit 45 runs off the remaining 19 deliveries.
It was always going to be an uphill battle and while Clancy (42*) and Dunn (10*) gave it their best effort it wasn't enough as the Ferrets came away with the 24-run win.
The Ferrets will take on Narrandera at Mark Taylor Oval next weekend while Yanco has the bye.
