A 60-YEAR-OLD man has had his licence immediately suspended after he was charged with high range drink driving on the weekend.

The man was stopped by police on Saturday about 10.50pm on Whitton Road where he underwent a random breath test.
After returning a positive result, the man was taken to Leeton police station for a further analysis.

This too returned a positive reading of 0.170, placing him in the high-range category.
His licence has been suspended and he was issued with a court attendance notice.
The offence of high range PCA is committed by a person who drives a motor vehicle on a public road with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.150 or above.
