The NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research has released its latest quarterly report, which details the amount of times a particular crime has been committed in each local government area across the state.
In Leeton shire the top-rating offence was malicious damage to property, with 130 recorded incidents in the 12 months to September.
This compared to 89 in the previous correlating period.
In terms of domestic violence, the rate of reported incidents was relatively similar in both 2018 and 2019, with these types of assaults reported to police 86 times last year and 88 this year.

These numbers only relate to those incidents that have been reported to police, with officers acknowledging there are others that aren't brought to their attention.
Break and enters rounded out the top three, but the rate of incidents did decrease over the 12-month period.
Murrumbidgee Police District Inspector for Leeton, Justin Cornes, said overall he was pleased with how the shire's crime rates were placed.
"Overall, I would say many of the categories are doing pretty well, especially when it comes to the state average," he said.
"In terms of domestic violence, we've been doing a lot of proactive policing in this area.
"We've been conducting many apprehended violence order checks.
"We will be continuing to work hard in this area to hopefully continue to drive numbers down."
Inspector Cornes was also pleased to see the reduced rate of break and enters.
Categories such as steal from dwelling and motor vehicles were also reported to be stable, as well as other theft related offences.
There were also 40 arrests made when it came to people being in possession/and or use of amphetamines and 91 for cannabis.
Inspector Cornes said for Leeton police it was "all about the three pillars of policing".
"We're working hard to protect the community and disrupt the criminal activity that does go on," he said.
"It's good to see with these numbers that we are heading in the right direction.
"It's important as police we remain proactive all of the time."
