The club will host several events from Boxing Day right through until the Breeders Plate final on January 24.
Planning for the carnival takes place throughout the year and this year organisers are hoping to attract not just solid fields, but good crowds as well.
With plenty of prize money on offer throughout the carnival, club secretary Joanne Punch said there was plenty of exciting racing on offer.
We should have good nominations," she said.

"It's been a few years now since the changes for the two-year-olds and the date change for the Breeders Plate.
"I think most people are aware of it. And for the horses it does give them a bit of time after the heats to rest and recover.
"That can make a real difference, which makes the final really exciting."
With so much racing on the way at Leeton's Lin Gordon Paceway, not only is it of interest to those in the sport, but spectators as well.
Organisers have been working to ensure the carnival is a social event out for all ages to enjoy.
"This year we're introducing free entry for all of the nights, so hopefully that encourages people to come along," Punch said.
"It doesn't need to be an expensive night out.
"On Boxing Day night you can bring your rug, pack a picnic of your Christmas leftovers and get out of the house. For those with visitors, it's something a bit different to do as well.
"Hopefully we have some good support throughout."
There will be live musical entertainment on each night of the carnival, as well as face painting, jumping castle and the Lions train for the kids.
