The school will receive close to $17,000 to remodel the library under the federal government's Local Schools Community Fund.
Other small schools in the region are also set to benefit.
Just over $15,500 has been allocated to Rankins Springs Public School to develop creative learning opportunities for science and technology subjects.
Goolgowi Public School has been awarded $8,941 to upgrade computer equipment and technology for their 21st Century Learning program.

Meanwhile, Coleambally Central School has picked up cash to build the students a bus shelter near the main school gate area.
Member for Farrer Sussan Ley said the projects were all worthy beneficiaries.
"Our government understands the important role schools play in each and every local community, as well as the desire and need to improve amenities and the environment for their students," she said.
"In Farrer we received well over 60 separate proposals, which an independent committee narrowed down to 14 successful applicants to fit into the capped funding amount of $200k for each federal electorate."
"I look forward to seeing each and every one of the projects and outcomes over the next 12 months."
