The Golden Apple Super Store recently contacted the Yanco CWA inquiring about how to make a donation to the NSW CWA drought relief fund.
As a result, the Yanco branch was happy to help get the ball rolling.
Golden Apple CEO Angelo Fiumara said staff had decided that this year they wanted the entirety of the IGA Community Treasure Chest fund to go to drought relief.

Mr Fiumara said over the many years he had lived in Leeton he had seen first hand the hard work and determination of generations of farmers.
He also said he highly regarded the work of the CWA and believed it would fairly and equitably distribute any donations.
He commented he has only admiration for farmers, who not only battle the elements, but also don't have the generous government subsidies of other countries.
The Golden Apple also donated an extra $1000 to add to the more than $2000 Community Chest donation.
Yanco CWA secretary Sandra Watson said the NSW CWA Drought Relief committee has allocated over $15 million to more than 9000 farmers.
"We are delighted to receive this donation and pass it on to head office where it will be put to good use helping drought stricken farming families," she said.
