The club views the release of fingerlings into the river as preserving the future health and ecosystem of the river for the longevity of species in the system, as well as recreational purposes.
In late January, the club again made it its mission to do just this, according to Greg Towers.
Club members headed out to the river with thousands of fingerlings which they released into the water.
As a result, 9100 Golden Perch fingerlings are now swimming away in the river.
The release took place up stream near the Euroley Bridge.
"These fingerlings are part of the Leeton Anglers Club restocking program, which has been ongoing since 1995," Mr Towers said.
"(Since that time), the club has released 31,900 Murray Cod and 118,700 Yellowbelly into the Murrumbidgee River around the Leeton area.
"(This) reflects the on the fish that fishermen are catching up and down the river system."

The fingerlings were purchased from the Murray Darling Fisheries in Wagga as part of the dollar-for-dollar native fish stocking program under the the Recreational Fishing Trust.
"This means for every dollar the Leeton Anglers Club raises, the trust fund supplies a dollar as well," Mr Towers said.
"The club raises money to purchase the fingerlings from raffles it holds at the Leeton Hotel every Wednesday night."
