Slick ball movement was the highlight of the day and with the accurate shooting of Taya Panuccio and Keira McCallum saw the Crows pick up a 58-41.
Coach Rachal Broadbent was impressed by her side's ball movement in the victory.
"We have been really working on it, and it was beautiful to watch actually. It was really nice and clean," she said.
"We probably pulled the foot off the pedal a little bit in the third quarter, but they were able to put it back down in the fourth quarter and come away with the win."
It is a young side playing A grade which also features the handy addition of Abby Favell.
"Probably the most experienced ones there are Taya and Keira, but everyone has been gelling really well," she said.
"We picked up Abby Favell in the centre court, and she has been amazing."
"She hasn't played netball competitively for the last couple of years because she has been focusing on her Aussie Rules.
"When we played Mango it was her first game and had only trained with us twice, but we worked on a few things at training like their channels, and on the weekend it was working really well."
Broadbent is happy with how the side is shaping up after the first two games of the season.
"Against Mango, I didn't think the score reflected anything on the game," she said.
"At their tryout, they had 80-odd at their club. When a few of the other side's pulled out of the competition, we did have a few girls come and ask if they could come across, but I wanted to focus on the ones that we have got and the ones that have been doing the hard work since February.
"You just had to see on the weekend that A grade has really started to click."
In the other grades, A reserve fell to the strong Turvey Park side 37-30 while in a nail-biting encounter the Crows came away with a 31-30 win in B grade.
C grade fell to a 44-27 defeat while the under 17s were defeated 33-30 in a tight tussle.
