Leeton's veterans, their families and loved ones marked Vietnam Veterans Day on Tuesday afternoon at the town's memorial marking that very war at the Leeton Soldiers Club.
Veterans, including Ian Page who served in Vietnam, as well as Borneo, laid wreaths, as did Leeton RSL Sub-branch president Peter Williams.
Vietnam War veteran John Power led the short service, which also included a prayer for the Australian Defence Force, a small address, the sounding of the Last Post and Ode, followed by the Rouse and a minute's silence.
Sub-branch affiliate Patrick O'Callaghan raised the Australian flag.
