The L&D fours championships final was played on Thursday and the 2019 defending champions had an overwhelming win.
The winning team was Joan Arnold (subbing for Patti Wakeman), Lorraine Mullins, Janet Bell and Dot Semmler.
The runners-up were Hilary Chambers, Jeanie Leighton, Lorraine Messner and Denise Naylor.
The triple championships will commence this Thursday with four teams competing.
L Mullins, Hilary Chambers and P Wakeman will take on D Naylor, Jeanie Leighton and Lorraine Messner.
J Lloyd, Marika Pete and J Walker will face E Sullivan, J Bell and J Heness.
In social bowls the drawn winners were E Sullivan, D Colyer and M Pete after defeating J Heness, F Harris and S Tyack.
The match was even on the sixth end when Sullivan won six of the next 10 ends, drawing away to win 17-9.
In the other game J Walker, J Carroll and H Symes defeated J Lloyd, V Glover and J Fitzpatrick. Walker, after a long break from bowls, came home strong winning 11 of the 14 ends.
Meanwhile, at the Leeton Soldiers Club last Wednesday pairs games were contested.

Margaret McKenzie and Lorraine McKellar, took an early lead, but Barbara Gullotta and Val Bloem got into stride and scores were equal on the tenth end.
"The Macs" put down some good shots to draw ahead and finish on top at 23-12.
The other match was close with Betty Howard and Jan Munro playing Laurel Cox and Colleen Harrison.
The teams were equal at the 10th end, with Howard and Munro winning all six shots at the 12th.
Cox and Harrison played strongly, but were unable to catchup.
Final score was Howard 20, Cox 11.
Both clubs will hold their respective monthly meetings after their days of play this week.
