Leeton's Jonathon Cotter attends The Scots School Albury and his passion for performing has seen him take part in the World Online Piping and Drumming Summer Championships recently.
Jonathon has been a member of the school's pipe band since the beginning of this year.
As with anything, practice makes perfect.
So, when it came time to enter the competition - up against others from across the globe - Jonathon started off in the beginner tenor drum section.
His skills and competence were judged to be the best, coming in with a first place with 176 points to his name.
Jonathon was also part of the school band's group entry, which was named the "most successful" out of all the bands from across the world who entered.
They picked up the champion pipe band title thanks to the combined 2079 points and the 64 entries from the school.
The school was 700 points ahead of its nearest competitor.
Jonathon was one of six winners from Scots, with three being better or equal in points with him.
The championships had a total of 1500 entries in 78 sections from 23 countries from six continents, with most sections having 35 or more competitors.
Each entrant, including Jonathon, had to perform two items which were videoed and submitted for judging by world-class professionals.
