This year the competition has been changed and shortened as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this time allowing for two days of basketball over two weekends to go ahead.
Leeton will host day one and will be fielding a men's team and women's side.
Griffith and West Wyalong will also be fielding men's and women's teams, while Narrandera has elected not to take part this season.
While the structure of the competition has changed, the will to win has not.
The women's side has had gone numbers at training in recent weeks as they prepare for Saturday's round-robin event, according to coach Josh Clyne.

"We've got a good mix of players, some younger ones we are giving the chance to experience the game at this level and some others who are experienced or have come back to the game," he said.
"We're expecting some tough matches.
"Griffith every year always seem to be the side to beat, while West Wyalong are always up there as well.
"Hopefully we can perform well."
The men's side is being coached by Luke Howe this season and the Leeton side is expected to be a front runner.
The men's team will be shaping up well ahead of their clashes on Saturday after they too experienced solid numbers at training to work through their game plan for the competition.
Spectators are welcome at the Leeton Indoor Stadium on Saturday, but must fill out an online form via the MIA League Facebook page by the end of today if they wish to attend.
Entry is $2 per person, $5 for families, with children under five free.
