It was a tough start for the Ferrets as Tyler O'Connell (1) was run out by Anthony Mandaglio while Mathew Axtill (3) was trapped in front by Ahmed Bilal.
Blake McDonald (32) was the only batsmen in the top order to get a start as Bilal (4/10) continued his excellent day with the ball while Callum Dunn (1/28) picked up Chris Iannelli (7).
Jack Kidd (10) and Dylan Whiteman (10*) added some late runs to see the Ferrets reach the end of their 20 overs on 7/90.
The Stags were able to make a strong start to be sitting on 41 heading after six overs however the Ferrets were able to make the breakthrough they needed when Kai Schmetzer (1/15) removed Abid Hussain (15).
Anthony Mandaglio and Andrew Kouzan were able to keep the run ticking over as they put on 25 runs in the next two overs before Mandaglio (19) was the next to depart when he was bowled by Caleb Watson (1/21).
The Stags co-captains Josh Lanham (14*) and Kouzan (44*) came together with their side needing 25 runs for victory, and they were able to hit the runs with 5.1 overs remaining.
The Stags will take on Narrandera in two weeks time while the Ferrets take on the Colts.
